My Spanish has greatly improved! However, it´s kind of a tease being here. There are so many great people at the school, but many of them are beginners. Getting to know them is almost impossible without speaking English. For now, I´m letting myself speak it during activities, but it can´t go on too long. We went to a fiesta last night and given my Spanish ability after only 6 days, I just wasn´t quite up to meeting Argentine women yet.

Anyway, here are a couple of the very nice people I´ve met. Alex is 19 and from England. We get along really well and he has a great accent. It seems we both share the affliction of White Man´s Disease when it comes to dancing, so we´re going to go to a tango lesson next week. Jackie is from Pennsylvania and interned in the DC area this past summer. She is a Christian and worked at MacLean Bible Church in Virginia.
