Fajitas
I like the steak here, but find much of the food lacking in variety and flavor. They don’t tend to mix the foods together and none of the food has any spice. (Paul, in this regard, Mexico wins hands-down). I was really missing Mexican or Tex-Mex food. So, Vanesa, her roommate Monica, and my friend J.D. came over for dinner. We made up a big batch guacamole, salsa, nachos, and fajitas with beef, chicken, and 3 different types of peppers. Mmmmmm! Wow, was that good! I bought about twice as many ingredients as necessary, so I think a group of starving, single people will be coming over tonight after church. We’ll probably eat about 1 in the morning, but it’s BA! We sweat to death last night, but supposedly I’m receiving my AC in about an hour. We’ll see…

Kyle,
It looks like your cooking skills are back on par. Are you able to find some of the spices you would like to use?
Did you get your AC fixed?
It was great to see pics of Vanessa. How does she pronounce her shorter version, VANE?
MOM
I’m only able to find a few spices. Definitely missing my spice rack. It’s also difficult to find chiles or hot peppers.
Of course the AC isn’t fixed. I’m only getting more pessimistic by the day with customer service here. I’m staying one floor below in an apartment with AC and Internet. Supposedly it will be installed Monday or Tuesday.
Vane is pronounced VAH-NAY.
Kyle, I enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading your blog! How Gordon would have loved this. He was never afraid to show his love and affection! Sounds like a great relationship you and
Vanessa have. She is a very pretty gal!
