She’s Back
Vanesa told me to wait for her call around 10 or 10:30pm. She was delayed and ended up calling at 11:30. I was under the impression she would be calling from Jujuy, which is in northwest Argentina. We talked for about 30 seconds, then she told me there was a problem and would call me back. Next thing I know, someone is ringing the bell downstairs for my apartment. I picked up that phone to answer and it was Vanesa! I couldn’t believe it. She was supposed to return early Monday morning, but missed me so much that she decided to come back a couple days early.
I missed her dearly and was even at the point of tears yesterday, but I’m not sure it compared to her feelings. Never in my life had I dreamed that a person would want to be with me this much. She cried, hugged and kissed me and said she didn’t want to lose me or be apart from me. I reassured her that she would never have to worry about that. What God has given us is more special than I can understand right now and time apart has only made it more apparent.
