Travel Company Job
I just came across this job posting for an American company that specializes in private luxury tours.
Blue Parallel, www.blueparallel.com, is a US-based luxury travel company offering private,custom-made journeys to Latin America. We do currently have a job opening for a “travel specialist” position in our Buenos Aires office.
Requirements:
- English-native speaker
- University education in the US or in the UK
- Long term living perspecitve in Buenos Aires
- Excellent English written and oral skills
- Extensive travel experience in Latin America
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Great interpersonal skills
- Readiness to work long hours and to travel
Obtaining this job would be a dream come true for my time in South America. It would allow me to earn money while practicing Spanish and learning about and seeing some of the most spectacular places in the world. Needless to say, I sent in my resumé right away this evening. It sure would be great to hear that phone ring in the morning.

No I haven’t. I’ve sent out resumes for 7 or 8 jobs, but only heard back from 1. Still looking!
