Keep Looking

I just received word from my first job interview. The wrote back saying: “Thank you very much for your interest in interning with Expanish and for joining us for an interview. At this moment we are looking for someone with slightly more experience with the responsibilities and in the field since this may quickly turn into a paid position based on our needs right now; we will however undoubtedly keep your CV on file for any future searches that fit your experience and interests.”

I have no shortage of self-confidence or belief in my competence and ability to learn. What is apparent is the weakness of my resumé. My education really has no relevance and while being self-employed can be a big plus in the right setting, it hasn’t aroused any interest here. I’m going to keep looking and send my resumé to a woman from my volunteer organization who asked me to send her a copy. I know I can be a good employee and add value to any organization. The trick will be getting my foot in the door to prove my worth.

God’s timing is perfect. I know that He will open just the right door for you.

Thanks for the reminder. I know something will work out. More than anything, I want to have another way to meet more people.
