Thank you all for your wonderful comments. It's great to know there are people both in Tulsa and throughout the world that want the very best for ORU.

To Mr. Green, thank you for all that you are doing. ORU changed my life in ways I've still yet to understand. There are countless students yet to come who need the same experience I had.

Kyle, haven't met you but was so thrilled to see your encouragement because of the improvements at campus. I am encouraged as well. You may know, but OR was my dad. Anyway, the new trustee board added me and I just attended my first board meeting. It certainly looks like things there are turning around and I'm so grateful. Anyway, thank you for your blog. I hope lots of alums will read it and see your pictures. I think it will go a long way to convincing alums that although we're not totally there, the new ORU has come a very long way. I'm so grateful to the Lord.

Seeing your photos and reading your perspective on things makes me feel so much closer to those students who are currently attending and what optimism for their university experience and their impact in the future. Having graduated in 1976, I have nothing but positive experiences for the time God granted me at ORU. Professors, administration and staff, along with student leaders and our Chaplain Bob, and many praying students I thank, also. Along with our daily noon communion service at the base of the Prayer Tower, our Sunday night worship in the cafeteria (No separate student chapel, yet) we had the beautiful prayer gardens and fountains to enjoy between classes. May God continue to change hearts and may so many more be filled and renewed in His Holy Spirit to impact our hurting world. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME IN TAKING AND POSTING THESE PHOTOS AND I SHARE YOUR OUTLOOK FOR THE CORNER OUR SCHOOL HAS NOW TURNED UNDER THIS ADMINISTRATION AND WITH THE DIRECTION AND GODLY LEADING OF DR. RUTLAND and THE NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEES.!!

Great photography work! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit! I came back to work at ORU in 2006 and enjoy being on campus every day. You're right - a lot has happened. Stop in the next time you are here!

Kyle and Chris,

Thanks for taking the time to come back to the New ORU. Great things are happening on the campus as you have so graciously articulated. The best news is that the mission of "Raising up students to go..." is going to get stronger and stronger as we move forward.
